Peninsula Design is a small, versatile design office that has been providing design and  drafting service in the greater Victoria and Saanich Peninsula area for over 20 years. Although we primarily work in custom home and renovation design, we have also designed many multi-family residential and some small commercial projects. Most of our projects are in the local Vancouver Island area, but we have also worked on projects in other parts of B.C. and as far away as the beaches of Peru!

Who We are
Norm Friesen  has many years of experience as a designer/draftsman in Architectural offices in Manitoba, Alberta and British Columbia and also as a ‘hands-on’ Designer/Builder in Alberta and B.C. Though having worn many hats as carpenter, cabinet-maker, bookkeeper, draftsman and designer, Norm now focuses primarily on the design aspect of residential construction.

Myrna Friesen keeps this family-run business running smoothly as office manager and bookkeeper, drawing on her varied background which includes teaching, working with seniors, supervising a commercial kitchen and bookkeeping.
